After 14 years of living in Western Australia, Rebecca has returned to Cornwall. Being Cornish, Rebecca has always been influenced by nature, tradition and legend. This has been an intrinsic cord that runs throughout her design philosophy and each creation has a story. Starting her career as a textile designer she found that this medium was the perfect conduit for tales told in sensual materials and opulent colours.
Rebecca leads the life of an Artisan and believes her design to be like alchemy. Ingredients are mixed by hand and what is produced is authentic, feminine and timeless.
"Life/work balance is so important and both should be complimentary to encourage a happy environment.
Rebecca loves to travel and makes regular trips to Europe and Asia for the purpose of research, always bringing back something new to trial and develop in her studio.
