Designer's Notes

This pieced “Shibori” scarf is cut from velvet which has been hand stitched in a resist and then dyed with a melange of colours to produce a unique piece of opalescent, prism like velvet. Because of the way the velvet pieces are individually placed, the pile of the velvet runs in different directions. This creates a shimmering interplay of light and shade, giving even greater richness to this unique scarf.

Colour Notes

A very delicate combination of silver, lilac, French Lavender through to pale violet. These all combine to create the luminous effect of the onset of twilight in a Margaret River sky.
